Activities around our campsite in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez

Visit of leisure parks and boat trips in Vendée: The residences of Sableau

Just a stone's throw from the campsite, a walk along the riversides Le Ligneron leads to the "Portes Notre Dame" lock.

Extend your walk and discover the surrounding flora in the marshes of Riez or let yourself be tempted by a fishing trip on the Ligneron and the Vie.

Come aboard a fishing boat moored in the port of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and benefit from the precious advice of old regulars of the sea. Cast your line and try to catch mackerel, sea bass and other fish.

An ideal outing alone, as a couple or with the family.

Looking for new sensations? Discover the Côte de Lumière in a different way by trying out board sports such as surfing, windsurfing, kite-surfing or wakeboarding.

You can rent your own equipment or take lessons from experienced instructors who will share their passion with you.

If you prefer a more leisurely activity, you can paddle or canoe/kayak in the marshes and surrounding water sports centres.

TAKE YOUR TIME

A real slow tourism destination, set your sights on nature. Let yourself be carried away by the iodine air as you go along the walks and hiking trails as you want and admire the diversity of the landscape. Nature lovers will be able to contemplate the immensity of the preserved state forest and smell the fragrance of the maritime and umbrella pines and other species of these woods.

Whatever the season, there is always time to let go and discover the great outdoors

There is only one thing to do: ENJOY!

On foot or by bike, the Vendée knows how to entertain. With over 1000 km of cycle paths, go shopping in Saint Jean de Monts or ride along the famous Corniche Vendéenne and explore the pretty town of Brétignolles sur Mer.

As you stroll along, stop to browse at one of the many local markets during the season and let yourself go with the flow of coastal life. Perhaps you will be brave enough to pedal to Les Sables d'Olonne and visit the atypical Penotte Island.

Do not hesitate to contact us for more details on the activities around our campsite.
